1. The social group or issue that is in my film represented a young black boy
having a flashback of his past life and the flashback showed him being arrested by
a black police officer arresting him roughly while his friends were with him as
witnesses. So this scene shows the issue in life and it shows the challenges that a
the young black man goes through.

The sound for our film was a very good decision because it goes with our film.
Since the film is a drama/crime film you can see and hear the action and since this
is a flashback you can see why he is the way he is and how he feels and how the
sound goes with it. The credits through the video are very distinct it shows
everything, and my partner did that.

2. Since they make good films, our production company was selected. We chose
the write production company because we wanted a successful film. we considered
as we selected our favorite drama/crime films.

3. My production skills throughout this project have come a long way. Honestly,
when we were told about this project I wasn't confident because I didn't know
anything about filming but once I started taking notes, doing blogs, the storyboard,
the script, and shooting schedule I kinda got the hang of it. The weeks I had for this
project every week I had to work on something new so I was progressing and
learning every week because one week was a script, another was storyboard, next
week rough cut, another weekly blog review, and another shooting schedule, and
then filming and editing so I learned and did something every week and when I
made a mistake I improved myself.
The process I learned about making films is to first know what your film will be
about, plan everything and stay organized because you can't make a film and not
have a plan, topic, or organization.

The planning of my film was good because my partner and I were communicating
well. My partner and I decided on days when we will meet up, what we will do,
who we will film and how will we edit, and the sound. When shooting the video
we let our actors know what they're doing, act it first then record, and for the
editing, we talked and we decided on what video will be the best and edited it and
put it together.

I know I will leave this class with more knowledge I came in with because I have
progressed every week and learned something every day so all the problems I and
my partner went through to put this film together we have learned from our
mistakes and done better. Every time something was wrong with the film we
would record it again, if we did an assignment wrong we do it again to make it
better.

4.For our project my partner and I used our phones we also would have used a
tripod but I didn't have one and for my partner, hers was broken and we did not
have time to purchase one. I used my iPhone 7plus while my partner also filmed
with her iPhone 11 and we filmed and we did some of our videos in slow motion.

Since my partner and I used our phones it wasn’t hard but for us to edit we wanted
to edit on our laptops so the little hard part was that the video was not uploading to
my laptop and at first we decided to do WeVideo and the video from her and my
phone was not uploading so we decided to the video on iMovie. But I learned you
just have to be patient because patience is key. At first, I tried to rush everything and
it wouldn’t come out good so I would have to take do it again but we took our time
all learned was to be patient.
